I am a computer scientist and sysadmin at the supercomputing centre of the Universite catholique de Louvain in Belgium. My interests lie mainly in artificial intelligence, computers and new technologies, chess, photography, volleyball and badminton.

I was born in January 1979. I grew up in the greenish area of Chimay, now worldwide known for its Trappist beer. I studied engineering and computer sciences at Louvain-la-Neuve, and then pursued a Ph.D. in applied mathematics in the same university. I now live in Mont-saint-Guibert, home of the Shanks voleyball team and of the Axis business park.
